Abstract

The article explores the identity and mission of the Christian church from an Adventist perspective, based on a theological analysis of the biblical passage 1 Peter 2:9. The study focuses on three key terms: xxxxxx, xxxxxx, and xxxxx, examining their semantic and morphological meanings in the context of the New Testament. The methodology employed includes a detailed exegetical analysis of the original Greek terms, their usage in the Septuagint, and in classical Greek literature, as well as their relation to concepts from the Old Testament.
The morphological and semantic analysis of the Greek term xxxxxxxxx reveals profound theological implications that enrich the understanding of the Christian priesthood in the NT context.
