Application of a model for the development of the culture of innovation in a faculty of administrative and accounting sciences at a university in Medellin Colombia

The purpose of this article is to contribute to the development of the culture of innovation in a faculty of Administrative and Accounting Sciences of a university in the city of Medellin, to achieve this purpose a quantitative methodology of descriptive scope is used, together with the application of an online questionnaire to the teachers of the faculty of administrative and accounting sciences, 44 questions distributed in eight components were analyzed (Strategy, Orientation towards the organization, Organizational structure, Communication and Collaboration, Leadership, Behavior of the organization, Mechanisms of support and Creativity in the Resolution of problems). The results indicate that the innovation culture in the faculty is in a transition stage. It is important to highlight as something positive that some of the values related to the innovation culture are already present in the culture of the company and are well valued by the teachers.
