Estado del Arte de la Importancia de las Tic en la Educación en Colombia

ICTs have permeated the different social fields and education does not escape this phenomenon, therefore this research had the objective of making a documentary tracking of the importance of the incidence of ICTs in Education in Colombia. The research presents a qualitative-interpretative design, of documentary type, for the selection of the documents the year of publication, the relevance and belonging to the topic of study, and having abundant information were used as selection criteria, in such a way that the established parameters were achieved.
The results found were not satisfactory because the incidence of ICT in Colombian education does not reveal the proper use of ICT to improve the quality of education in terms of cognitive skills and infrastructure, in addition to the fact that corruption does not allow the implementation of the proper use and quality of ICT; therefore, it is concluded that at all school levels (primary, secondary and universities) with the use of ICT in all social contexts, the use of ICT in Colombia emphasizing the education system is poorly focused, misused, thus simply the system with which ICT have been projected in educational institutions in Colombia are a business of corruption, where there are no guarantees in the teaching and learning process, therefore the misuse of technologies where social inequality is strengthened, exclusion and impoverish academic processes.
