Abstract

Armageddon has always been in the crosshairs of final event scholars, they all have divided thoughts when interpreting this event, some literally or symbolically due to its demand and little mention in the book. Armageddon, a term that has only one mention in the New Testament, is a concept that develops in the context of the last plagues Rev 15:1-16:21, which is commonly associated with the final battle, however, the subject has been so commented and little landed that his interpretations reflect a tension between the symbolic and the literal. Through the exegetical analysis, an intertextual analysis of the relationship between the symbolic and the literal is made.
