    UNACIENCIA, Journal of Studies and Research (p-ISSN 2027-3916, e-ISSN 2711-0303), is a biannual, open-access scientific publication whose purpose is to disseminate scientific knowledge internationally through the publication of original and unpublished articles. Its thematic focus covers the disciplines of the Social Sciences, according to the Classification of Scientific Areas established by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).

    The articles published are based on national and international research aimed at solving regional and local problems. Since 2008, the journal has been funded by the Corporacion Universitaria Adventista and charges no fees for review, editing, or publication. Manuscripts are reviewed double-blind by external international academic peers.

    TeoRel, Journal of Religious and Theological Studies (ISSN-e 2981-4022), is published to disseminate research in the fields of theology and religious studies conducted by faculty, researchers, and students of the Faculty of Theology and Religion at the Adventist University Corporation, as well as by interested individuals. The journal aims to foster reflection on these areas of knowledge, contributing to the resolution of social conflicts and the building of peace in local and international social contexts. By promoting a theological and critical study of religion—a fundamental factor in society—TeoRel hopes to contribute to the development of the region, the country, and the world.
